Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Celebrated
Guwahati: 16 August, 2022: India completed its glorious 75th years of Independence this year. Marking the 75th anniversary of the country's independence, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated in across the country as well as at XYZ school. The school entrance was filled with national flags, tricolour rangoli was created. The celebration started at 9 a.m. with the National flag hoisting by honourable principal, national anthem was sung at the time of the flag hoisting. The Principal, gave a speech on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. He asked the students to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in their neighbourhood. The cultural programmes started with Saraswati Vandna by class 11 girls. During the programmes, various activities were held including Painting Competition, Slogan Writing, Poster Making, Poetry Competition and Essay Writing Competition. After cultural and other competitions, the prize distribution programmes started. The chief guest distributed the prizes to winners for the different categories. In the end, sweets were distributed to all and celebration concluded with a patriotic song.
