Let us understand it with the help of an example
Suppose if you are stressed or some kind of dispute is going on in your family then you might not be able to perform well because you have stressed the situations are not usual or normal like they used to thus your performance will get affected.
So our health is very much dependent on the person personal and social environment. Because all the organisms living on this earth are interdependent to each other. And to their environment there are few factors that determine proper health.

So let us understand them one by one
1. Public cleanliness: We all know that we need to throw garbage in the dustbin. as throwing them here and there will pollute the environment which in turn becomes the breeding ground for mosquitoes, houseflies and many disease-causing microbes.
2. Food: We need energy because we need to work and energy is obtained from food. We can only buy food if we have money and money is obtained by working so all these things are interrelated to each other. Thus food becomes the second important factors that determine the proper health.
3. Social environment: As far we have discussed one can not perform well in a stressful environment.

Now let's talk about disease
Disease what do you mean, it means what we can define it as that the body without comfort. "Dis means without and ease means comfort."
Disease actually means a state of uneasiness discomfort or disturbed. It can also be defined as a condition in which normal functioning of the body or its part or organ is disturbed.
Disease in its name suggest this is it is basically the disturbance in our body. It generally has some symptoms like pain, fever, weight loss, feeling tiredness etc.
We often confuse the term being healthy with being disease free. But there is a difference let us understand the difference between the two.
Health is the state of being physically mentally and socially fit. As far we have discussed with respect to person's personal and social environment. But being disease free is only the absence of disease which is only related to the individual and not at all with the social environment in which the person is living.
Now the question arises, how can we identify a disease, so as we have discussed earlier it has symptoms like pain fever swelling etc. Basically a body has different organs and all those organs perform specific function. Malfunctioning in any of these will help us identify that something is wrong with our body.

Types of diseases
You know diseases are of two types, they are acute disease and chronic disease.
Acute disease
• It appears suddenly.
• It has severe symptoms.
• Feeling tiredness
• It last for a short period of time.
• They last for not more than a week and
• Do not have long term effect on health.
for example: common cold, influenza, typhoid, cholera, diarrhea, malaria etc.
Chronic disease
• It develops gradually.
• Symptoms are mild.
• Feeling tiredness all the time.
• Last for several years or life long.
• It can not be cured completely.
• It has severe impact on person's health.
for example: Blood pressure, liver infections, kidney malfunctioning, diabetes, arthritis, TB etc.
Thus this is how we can identify that there is a disease in our body but symptoms does not tell us the exact cause of the disease.

How to strengthen immune system
So let's get started diseases can be prevented in two ways number one is by preventing the exposure to the infectious agents like airborne diseases can be prevented by using face masks or avoiding going to the crowded places waterborne diseases can be prevented by drinking safe and pure drinking water. vector bond diseases can be prevented by keeping our surrounding clean and maintaining personal or public hygiene.
The second way is to strengthen our immune system but first let us understand what immune system is these are the network of cells tissues or organs that work together in order to protect ourselves from diseases.
These includes lymph antibodies white blood cells bone marrow and thymus basically the germs that enter into our body are called as antigens. And as soon as these immune system recognizes them they releases antibodies which destroy these germs coming back to our way to strengthen the immune system can be done by exercising regularly eating a healthy diet and practicing mindfulness in order to reduce these stress a specific method to do so is through the vaccination

A vaccine contain agents similar to that of the causative agent in a weak or killed form inducing it into the body makes our immune system learn how to fight against it and it protects ourselves from the diseases when the actual disease-causing agent into our body today vaccines are available for different diseases like polio, measles, hepatitis etc.
So far we have discussed how to get rid of diseases if someone has but there are certain limitations to it. let's check them
1. If someone has a disease then his or her body function might have got damaged they may never recover properly.
2. The person is likely to get bedridden for some time till the time the treatment is going even if we are reducing the symptoms.
3. If the person has acquired or cast an infectious disease then that person become the source for the transmission of diseases from one person to another person.
So friends I hope you all have understood about the ways to prevent the diseases and about our immune system. I hope you'll be able to solve so many questions of one marks two marks even lengthy questions also. Keep reading for more posts. Don't forget to share with your friends .
