The Little girl is a story about a little girl named Kezia. Her father is a dreadful person for her. Her mother also did not support her much.

When her father would come home, her mother would ask her to go and remove his shoes. Her father was very big and when he would yawn, his open mouth would frightened her.

One day Kezia was suffering from cold and so she was not sent to school. Her grandmother asked her to give a gift to her father on his birthday. She prepared a pin cushion as suggested by her grandmother. She stiched the three sides of the cushion and searched filling material for it.

She searched in the whole house but her search ended only in her mother's bedroom. Kezia found many sheets of fine paper there. She gathered them up and tore them into small pieces, stuffed them in the cushion and stitched the rest side  and finished the gift.

But she unknowingly torn the speech of her father for the port authority. Her father searched the papers and asked Kezia about it. Then she told him that she has used them as filling material of the cushion. When her father knew it, he became furious and punished her.

One night Kezia's mother fell ill and her grandmother had to stay with her in the hospital. When she was sleeping, she had a nightmare and cried loudly. When she woke up, she found her father caring her. He took her to his bed and asked her to rub her feet against his legs to get them warm.

Soon her father fell asleep but Kezia did not sleep. She was thinking about her father. Suddenly she found that her father was no longer a dreadful one and she started loving her father from then.

The Little Girl summary in Hindi

The Little Girl
