Darpan HS 1st year Admission: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has started the registration process for the higher secondary first-year or class 11 admission 2024–25. Students seeking admission for Assam HS first-year can apply through ‘DARPAN’ portal at darpan.ahseconline.in. AHSEC released a notification for inviting applications from eligible candidates.

Students who cleared the Assam High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or Class 10 board exam this year can enrol themselves for the HS first-year courses for the academic session 2024–25. Candidates will be given admission to intermediate programmes of Arts, Science and Commerce streams in several schools and colleges across Assam.

DARPAN AHSEC Online Admission Portal

Assam DARPAN Portal will be used to manage the admissions process for students entering the Higher Secondary (HS) First Year Course for the academic year 2024–25 at various institutions throughout Assam.

According to the AHSEC, students can submit their online applications for admission to various institutions by going to www.darpan.ahseconline.in. The Higher Secondary (HS) First Year Course admissions procedure for the academic year 2024–2025 will be handled through the DARPAN portal at various colleges throughout Assam. Only students who have completed the admissions process through the DARPAN portal will be permitted to finish the registration process.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS

1. A new applicant has to register before loging in to the Admission portal.

2. A student can login again using its Mobile No, Date of Birth and the Four Digit PIN.

3. To recover the forgot login details, a student can click on the FORGOT LOG IN DETAILS.

4. To edit profile of a student, he/she can visit the PROFILE TAB in the student dashboard.

5. In the Student Dashboard, a student can view his/her admission status in Admission Offered Tab, Total no of Applications Submitted in Application Submitted Tab and view remaining applications in Application Left Tab.

6. Filter and Search options can be used to view or sort the Colleges/Schools.

7. A STUDENT CAN APPLY UP TO MAXIMUM OF FIVE (5) APPLICATIONS.

8. A student can visit the MY APPLICATIONS Tab to view the status of his/her applications.

9. Acknowledgement receipt can be downloaded from the My Application tab as well.

10. A student will be able to change their preferred subject(s) at the time of admission.

11. Selection List and Waiting List for admission into HS first year will be prepared by the institutions in due course of time and will be be made available in the DARPAN portal for the students. The candidates will be notified of their selection through SMS.

12. AFTER PUBLICATION OF SELECTION LIST, CANDIDATES WILL BE ALLOWED TO APPROVE ONLY ONE INSTITUTION FOR ADMISSION USING THEIR LOGIN ID IN THE PORTAL. After approval, there will no option for a candidate to change the institution. The candidate must take admission in the institution concerned within the stipulated time period to complete the admission process.

13. “DARPAN” portal may be reopened to facilitate admission for the left out candidates.

2. Class 10th's Mark sheet.

The Assam Higher Secondary Education council, Bamunimaidam has declared Darpan AHSEC Merit list 2024 on the official website of www.darpan.ahseconline.gov.in. The students who applied for Darpan AHSEC admission now can check the Darpan Merit list 2024 by visiting the official website. The merit list has been released on 6th September and the further admission process would be taken from 8th to 12th September.
