All things bright and beautiful

All creatures great and small,

All things wise and wonderful,

The Lord God made them all.


Each little flower that opens,

Each little bird that sings,

He made their glowing colours,

In the poem "All Things Bright and Beautiful", the poet praises the things and creatures made by God. God has created this world full of bright and beautiful things. The creatures created by him are great and small. God has made things wise and wonderful.


The colorful flowers that we see are also created by the Lord God. He has made their shining / glowing colours. The birds that sing fly with tiny wings that are made by God.

I am writing this letter to tell you about the quiz competition which I won on this World Environment day. It was held on NMHSS. The topic of the quiz was about the Environment.The quizmaster was renowned personality Mr Diganta Deka. They were total 6 members. The name of our team was Quizes. Each of the team played very well and all of them scored good marks. Our team leads with 40 marks and we were awarded with prize money and certificate and it was very nice experience for me. After the competition me and my team mates enjoyed a lot.

21. Read the story: Tenali Raman


Tenali Raman was a courtier in a king's court. One day the king got angry with Tenali Raman. The king said, "I don't want to see your face. Don't come to my courtroom".


The next day Tenali Raman came with his face covered with a pot. He made three holes in the pot. There were two holes for his eyes and one hole for his nose and mouth. On seeing Tenali Raman, the King said, "Why you have come again, and why are you covering your face with the pot?"


Tenali Raman replied," Your Majesty, you said you didn't want to see my face." The King laughed and said, "You are very intelligent, Tenali." Tenali Raman smiled and said, "Thank you, your majesty".
