Fog class 10 Summary in English

The Poet Carl sandburg says that the fog ( a very thick mist ) which is generally seen in the winter season is coming towards the city and the harbour just like a cat without making any noise that no one can notice its arrival. He has compared its (fog) arrival to that of a little cat because a cat always enters a place silently.

Poet says that the fog has covered the whole of the city and harbour ( an artificial port ) and it appears as if it is sitting by folding its legs and looking around just the way a cat does when it sits on the haunches and looks around.

At the end, The Poet says the departure of the fog which is again very silently as the similar to the departure of the cat.

कवि Carl sandburg का कहना है कि कोहरा (एक बहुत घना कोहरा) जो आमतौर पर सर्दियों के मौसम में देखा जाता है, शहर और बंदरगाह की ओर बिल्ली की तरह बिना कोई शोर मचाए आ रहा है कि कोई भी उसके आगमन को नोटिस नहीं कर सकता है। उन्होंने इसके (कोहरे) आगमन की तुलना एक छोटी बिल्ली से की है क्योंकि एक बिल्ली हमेशा चुपचाप एक जगह में प्रवेश करती है।

कवि का कहना है कि कोहरे ने पूरे शहर और बंदरगाह (एक कृत्रिम बंदरगाह) को कवर कर लिया है और ऐसा प्रतीत होता है जैसे वह अपने पैरों को मोड़कर बैठा है और ठीक उसी तरह से देख रहा है जैसे बिल्ली जब बैठती है और चारों ओर देखती है।

अंत में कवि कहता है कि कोहरे का विदा होना जो फिर से बहुत ही चुपचाप बिल्ली के जाने के समान है।
