Outline : A king of an island employed a workman and his son - did not allow them to go home - they were unhappy - the workman made wings with feathers - fixed them with wax - both flew up - the father advised the son not to fly too high - the son did not listen - wax melted - the son was drowned - the man escaped.

Once upon a time there lived a king in an island. He employed a workman and his son to see the needs of the courtiers and kingdom. The workman and his son were diligent at first. They obeyed king's order without question. After some days the king used to place many orders, he did not allow them to go home. The workman grumbled about increased workload. This made the workman and his son miserable. So the workman made a plan of escape. One day the workman made wings with feathers and then fixed them with wax. When the wings were ready the workman tested. The father advised his son that not to fly too high because it would melt due to the heat from the sun. But son didn't listen to his father, he was excited and he flew up higher and higher. Due to the heat and force, the wax fully melted and the son was drowned in ocean and the father escaped from the palace.
Moral : Better safe than sorry
