Amazing facts : Why we cannot remember our dreams

Amazing facts : Why we cannot remember our dreams : Some say that once we fall asleep, our minds stop making new memories, but what if it's the other way around ? In our dreams, we make memories, but once we wake up, we forget them. But why, know the Amazing facts : Why we cannot remember our dreams ?

We all see dreams. Many people remember dreams and so many people know that the dream came in the night but what they saw in the dream, they do not remember.

It's hard to say what the true purpose of dreams is. Some people believe that they're a reflection of our innermost desires and desires that we'd rather not acknowledge. Most people will say that dreams are just crazy thoughts that our subconscious mind creates while we sleep.

The funny thing is that people who remember dreams also remember the end of the dream, but no human in the world remembers where the dream started. The question is why does this happen.

Why do we forget our dreams ?

Do we forget dreams because they are not quite real, or remember nightmares because they are so scary ? Or is there a different reason for our memory of dreams ? Dreams are important to have because they help us with our daily lives.

Dreams help us with our creative ideas, our personal relationships, and our work. When we have a nightmare, it does not just affect our day, it can impact our life for days to come.

Dreams are a powerful force in our lives, sometimes even becoming our reality. We have all experienced this, whether it is being the next big thing, winning the lottery, or getting married. We all conjure up these dreams, but sometimes they are crushed before they can ever happen. Why do we forget our dreams so quickly ?

Why do we forget our dreams so quickly

One of the more common questions we ask ourselves is why do we forget our dreams so quickly. We know that our mind can be a powerful tool, but for some reason it's not enough to help us reach our goals.

We are constantly told to focus on the present, not the future, but that doesn't mean that we should forget about the potential that the future holds. Our dreams are important, and it's important for us to remember them.

We forget our dreams so quickly. We are set on this path by our parents, who tell us to be realistic when they tell us to go to school for this career instead of that. But when they are gone, we go back to being naive and believing in our dreams again.

Why do we forget dreams but remember nightmares

Some people forget dreams, but remember nightmares, while others remember dreams and avoid nightmares. Dreams and nightmares are the result of the same brain activity. Dreams help to reinforce waking life and nightmares can help to prevent waking life from becoming too stressful.

Take for example the nightmare of a young child who has just learned that his or her father has died in a car crash. If the child then gets a dream in which the father is still alive, the dream will help to reinforce the child's belief that

In a study by the psychologist, Dr. Elliot Turi, it was found that the reason why we forget dreams but remember nightmares is that a nightmare is a much stronger and more vivid memory than a dream.

Dreams often include decaying details and fade in and out, while a nightmare has a more clear-cut storyline and a distinct beginning, middle, and end. Although a nightmare is more vivid and much stronger, it is also much harder to forget, because it is fresh in our minds.

It is an astonishing truth that even today research is going on in the world about dreams and scientists have their own conclusions.  Scientists around the world do not agree on any one opinion about dreams.

Scientific reason why we forget our dreams

Medical science says that Rapid Eye Movement (REM) also causes dreams. During REM the whole body is asleep but the closed eyes are fluttering fast from inside. In any human being, this duration is maximum 90 minutes.

During REM (Rapid Eye Movement) the blood circulation in the human brain becomes very fast. There is no clear structure in dreams in the initial stage. It is something like the TV is not getting the signal.

After some time, when the blood circulation is a little less, then the structure in the subconscious mind becomes clear and the picture becomes visible. Only this state of the dream is remembered.

Deidre Barrett, a professor of psychology and author, says that the chemical component Noradrenaline also causes memories of dreams seen in the subconscious state. Noradrenaline is a hormone due to which the mind becomes engaged in some work.

Harvard Medical School sleep researcher Robert Stickgold says that dreams are remembered only by a person who does not have a workload in his brain. Dreams that come in the state of stress and anxiety are injurious to health and sometimes become the cause of paralysis attack.

That is why elders say that one should leave the bed when such dreams come and drink water before going back to sleep.
