How to make bhindi and tomato curry in easy method

To make lady finger and Tomato curry, first wash the ladyfinger thoroughly and dry it thoroughly by keeping it in a clean cloth. When the bhindi is dried well, cut it into big pieces.

Put oil in a pan, heat it well and add chopped okra to it and deep fry it. Take out the fried bhindi in a tissue paper and set it aside.

Now put a little cumin in a pan with oil and fry it, when the cumin becomes light brown, then add chopped onion to it. Cook the onion till it turns golden and add salt as per taste.


Add all the dry spices like coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili along with the onion and fry it well and add ginger garlic paste to it. Fry this paste till the oil separates from the spices.


Add chopped tomatoes to the roasted spices and mix well with the spices. When the tomatoes become soft, then add fried bhindi to it and mix well.


Mix all the ingredients well with the bhindi with a ladle and cover and cook for 5 minutes. Switch off the gas after 5 minutes and enjoy hot vegetable with roti or dal rice.

  • Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
  • Dried mango powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin - 1/2 tsp

i. First of all, wash the bhindi thoroughly and dry it well by placing it in a clean cloth and cut it into big pieces.


ii. Put oil in a pan and when the oil is hot, add chopped bhindi and deep fry it. Remove the fried bhindi and set it aside.


iii. Put a little cumin in the oiled pan and when the cumin turns brown, add chopped onion and cook till it turns golden and add salt as per taste.


iv. Mix all the dry spices with onions and add ginger garlic paste. Add chopped tomatoes to the roasted spices and mix well with the spices.


v. When the tomatoes become soft, then add fried bhindi in it and mix it well. After five minutes turn off the gas and enjoy hot vegetable with roti or dal rice.
