Where Do All the Teachers Go class 6 Summary in English

The poem Where Do All the Teachers Go is about the feeling of a small boy about his teachers. The child (the poet) wonders what his teachers are like. It is difficult for him to accept that his teachers are ordinary persons living like common people.

The poet wonders where the teachers go at 4′ O clock after the school. If they also do all the work or things, other people do, Like do they live in houses, do they wear pyjamas, wash socks or watch T.V, Do they also have parents and children to live with.

The child poet wants to know if these teachers were also born like ordinary children and were bad as children often are. He wonders if they also made mistakes in spellings and were punished.

The poet regards his teachers to be very perfect. he thinks that perhaps these teachers never lost their books as he does or wore unclean clothes like some children. He intends to follow one of his teachers some day when the teachers go home and find out the truth. He will, then, write it in a poem which the teachers can read out to other children in the class.

कविता Where Do All the Teachers Go एक छोटे लड़के की अपने शिक्षकों के बारे में भावना के बारे में है। बच्चा (कवि) सोचता है कि उसके शिक्षक कैसे हैं। उसके लिए यह स्वीकार करना मुश्किल है कि उसके शिक्षक आम लोगों की तरह रहने वाले सामान्य व्यक्ति हैं।

कवि आश्चर्य करता है कि शिक्षक स्कूल के बाद 4′ बजे कहाँ जाते हैं। अगर वे सभी काम या चीजें करते हैं, तो दूसरे लोग करते हैं, जैसे वे घरों में रहते हैं, क्या वे पजामा पहनते हैं, मोजे धोते हैं या टीवी देखते हैं, क्या उनके पास रहने के लिए माता-पिता और बच्चे भी हैं।

Ans: The poet wants to know where the teachers go at four o’clock because that was the time when the school got over. He watches the teachers till the time they are in school. However, he wonders where they go after school.
