The Republic Day is a national festival of India, it is celebrated on 26th January every year. This day is a historic day of the Indians because on this day in 1950, the constitution came into force.

India became a secular, democratic country on this day. The constitution is the supreme law of India. It tool two years, eleven months and eighteen days to draft the constitution of India. 

The prime and formal celebration of Republic Day of India happens on the Rajpath in Delhi. The celebration of Rajpath showcases the defence capability and incredible cultural diversity of India. 

Schools, colleges and organisations government or private also celebrate Republic Day by unfurling the national flag and singing national Anthem. The Republic Day spreads the message of unity, equality, brotherhood and integrity.
