Tips to score good marks in the board exam: Due to Covid 19 pandemic and academic losses, after a long wait, the CBSE Board and respective state education boards have finally announced the date sheet for the upcoming board exams for class 10 and 12. How to prepare for board exams

1. Divide your time for each subject

Allocate optimum time to each subject and strive to follow a time table religiously to complete the syllabus along with revision on time. In addition to this, you should also make sure to allot some time for recreational activities.


2. Solve every question type

Although board exams design its question papers according to the NCERT textbooks. Even then, at times, some questions feel like they are out of syllabus but actually they are not.

So you should practice different typologies of questions to make sure they can solve even the most complex questions easily. Solving question banks questions or model questions papers can be very helpful in such cases. 


3. Identify your weakness

Inorder to identify your weakness, keep testing yourself with sample question papers. To have an in-depth knowledge of each concept, you should practise sample questions papers of all subjects. 


It is highly recommended that students practice previous year’s board papers and sample questions papers and evaluate by self, then you will get idea where you are lacking behind.

4. Revise all day, every day

Students are advised to stay focused and keep on revising important points and highlights of every chapter regularly. While revising, you should highlight the most important points of every chapter. 


Friends in this way, you will be able to revise different concepts easily when the exams are very close. Make sure you devote at least 1 hours of each day to revise what you have studied the previous day.


5. Don't wander out of syllabus

Its good to study reference books for enhancing your knowledge, but make sure not to wander out of the syllabus. As academic session got affected due to the nationwide lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic 30 to 35 percent syllabus has been reduced. So please check the revised syllabus for the ensuing board exams.
