It was the month of January. Our school was closed after the annual examination. I have a visited my uncle's house in Golaghat. He invited me to come their, and he informed my parents.It was a beautiful sunday evening. I went to bus stand along with my elder brother. We had booked our tickets online earlier.After reaching at the bus stand we bought so snacks and water bottle.
We took out seat in third row, the bus was almost full of passengers, My brother met one his college friend from Golaghat. They got busy in talking, I was enjoying night's view out side through the window.
It was 8:30 p.m, and time to start our journey by bus to Golaghat. The driver came in and took his seat. The conductor greated customers. The bus started to move. I was thrilled in anticipation of a long journey by bus. I got busy watching the view outside.
In an half hour the bus reached Khanapara, some passengers got into the bus. Again the bus started to move in speed.
We crossed many places and the bus began to move along the hills. At 11p.m. the bus halted at Jakhalabandha, almost all passengers got down the bus for refreshment. We too entered a hotel and had our dinner. after 30 minits again the bus started to move.
I was sleepy and got asleep, my brother called me while the bus was crossing by Kaziranga. Then the bus reached Bokakhat at 4p.m. We got down and had tea with peda. Again the bus moved on after 30 minutes, crossed Numuligarh oil refinery and at 5:30 a.m the bus stopped at Golaghat.
Uncle was waiting there and we went to his house in his car. Unty and sister welcomed us. This journey by bus I enjoyed a lot.

जनवरी का महीना था। वार्षिक परीक्षा के बाद हमारा स्कूल बंद था। मैं गोलाघाट में अपने चाचा के घर गया था। उन्होंने मुझे उनके आने के लिए आमंत्रित किया, और उन्होंने मेरे माता-पिता को सूचित किया।
यह एक सुंदर रविवार की शाम थी। मैं अपने बड़े भाई के साथ बस स्टैंड गया। हमने अपने टिकट पहले ही बुक कर लिए थे। बस स्टैंड पर पहुँचने के बाद हमने इतनी नमकीन और पानी की बोतल खरीदी।
हमने तीसरी पंक्ति में सीट निकाली, बस लगभग यात्रियों से भरी थी, मेरा भाई गोलघाट के अपने एक कॉलेज मित्र से मिला। वे बात करने में व्यस्त हो गए, मैं खिड़की से बाहर रात के दृश्य का आनंद ले रहा था।
यह 8:30 बजे था, और गोलघाट के लिए बस से हमारी यात्रा शुरू करने का समय। ड्राइवर अंदर आया और अपनी सीट ले ली। कंडक्टर ने ग्राहकों को महान बनाया। बस चल पड़ी। बस से लंबी यात्रा की प्रत्याशा में मैं रोमांचित था। मैं बाहर का नज़ारा देखने में व्यस्त हो गया।
आधे घंटे में बस खानापारा पहुंच गई, कुछ यात्री बस में चढ़ गए। फिर से बस स्पीड में चलने लगी।
हमने कई स्थानों को पार किया और बस पहाड़ियों के साथ चलना शुरू कर दिया। रात 11 बजे। जाखलबंधा में बस रुकी, लगभग सभी यात्री जलपान के लिए बस से उतरे। हम भी एक होटल में दाखिल हुए और अपना डिनर किया। 30 मिनट के बाद फिर से बस चल पड़ी।
मुझे नींद आ गई और मैं सो गया, मेरे भाई ने मुझे फोन किया जब बस काजीरंगा से पार हो रही थी। फिर बस 4:00 बजे बोकाखाट पहुँची। हम नीचे उतरे और पेड़ा के साथ चाय पी। 30 मिनट बाद फिर से बस चली, नुमालीगढ़ तेल रिफाइनरी को पार किया और सुबह 5:30 बजे बस गोलाघाट पर रुकी।
चाचा वहाँ इंतज़ार कर रहे थे और हम उनकी कार में उनके घर गए। एकता और बहन ने हमारा स्वागत किया। बस से इस यात्रा का मैंने बहुत आनंद लिया।
