From the little child who tries to stand up to the would be conqueror who tries to annex some new territory, every one fails. It has been well said that he who never made a mistake never made anything. What is important is the way we take our failure. If we get dispirited by failure and stop trying again, we can never make progress. But if without despair or defeatism we try to learn the lessons of our failure, we shall be able to fight better next time and achieve victory in the long run, if not immediately.
