The old lady and the doctor

There lived an old lady alone in a house. She had beautiful furniture in her house.One day she became blind. Therefore she called in a doctor she agreed to pay the doctor if he cured her eyes, and if not cured then she would pay nothing. From next day the doctor visited the lady everyday and started treatment. But he took away a piece of furniture from the lady's house every day. He thought that the lady would not know if her furniture was missing. After some days the lady was cured and doctor demanded his fees but the lady refused to pay saying that her eyes were not cured. She told the doctor that she could not see her furniture. The doctor got his lesson for cheating her.
