Respected Sir,

Most respectfully through the regular column in your esteemed daily. Kindly allow me to draw the attention of concerned authorities regarding the poor conditions of the roads in our locality ............. (place name).

Sir, the roads in our locality are in very bad conditions, most of them are kutcha. The main road that connects us to the outer world is also not cemented well and narrow. Potholes appear like pond in several places and it becomes river of mud during rainy season. The bad conditions of the roads cause a lot of inconvenience to the people causing traffic jams and frequent accidents. Roads were dug for underground sewerage scheme, underground power cables and laying of drinking water pipelines. The delay in re-laying these roads led to water stagnation on the trenches and pits on the roads causing inconvenience to motorists. Apart from motorists, pedestrians also face hardship as they have to walk on slippery roads.

So therefore, keeping the above in view, I would like to request you to bring this issue into light so that it could reach to our Transport Minister to look into the matter and take urgent and necessary steps to make the condition swifter.
