- Kashmiri chili powder: 1/2 tsp
- Cumin: 1/2 tsp
- Onion: 2 finely chopped
- Colour: 1 pinch edible
- Whole chilies: 3-4
- Coriander leaves: 1 tsp
How to make Mutton Pulao
To make Mutton Pulao, first you have to heat ghee in a pan. After the ghee is heated, add black pepper, cloves and whole red chillies along with cardamom and fry it for some time.
After frying it for some time, you have to add finely chopped onion and fry it well for five to seven minutes so that all the spices along with the onion are well cooked and set. When the masala is set well, its taste is also wonderful.
When you feel that the onion has become golden, then you have to cook it by adding meat, salt, red chili powder along with other spices, so that the mutton gets cooked well and becomes soft. When the mutton becomes soft, the taste of the food increases even more.

- Water: 2 cups

- Lemon juice: 2 tsp
How to make Vegetable Pulao/Veg Pulao
To make Vegetable Pulao, first you cut all the vegetables into small pieces, wash it and keep them aside. Take a kadhai and keep it for heating. Add butter or ghee to it, also add rest of the spices and stir for 1to 2 minutes.
After frying it for some time, you have to add finely chopped onion and fry it till it turns golden brown. Now add all the vegetables in it and fry them well for 3 to 4 minutes. When the vegetables become a little soft, add rice to it.

- Sugar: 1 cup
- Cashews and almonds: 1 cup
- Finely shredded coconut: 1 cup

- Bay leaf: 1
- Khoya: 50 grams
- Water: ½ liter
- Food colour: edible/1tsp
How to make Pashtuni Zarda Pulao
To make Pashtuni Zarda Pulao, first you wash the rice thoroughly and keep it aside. Put water in a heavy bottomed pan and bring it to a boil. Now add rice, cardamom, clove, bay leaf and cinnamon and cook the rice up to 80 percent.
After the rice is cooked, drain off the rest of the water and spread the rice on a plate. Take another pan and put ghee in it and keep it hot. Add coconut, cashew nuts, raisins and almonds and fry on low flame.
After frying it for some time, Now add sugar and saffron water to it. Cook it till the sugar dissolves. Now add food colour, lemon juice to the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add cooked rice to this mixture and cook it well. Cook it for 15 minutes on medium flame and finally add khoya. Mix all the things well. Your Pashtuni Zarda Pulao is ready. Serve it hot.
