The Invention of Vita-Wonk class 7 Summary in English

The story The Invention of Vita-Wonk is about a scientist Mr. Willy Wonka and his rare invention tonic vita-Wonk. Mr. Willy Wonka invented medicine to make people young. But the medicine was so strong that a few people disappeared after their age went in minus by taking his medicine. 

One person even became minus 87 of his age. The poor fellow had to wait 87 years to come back. So Mr. Wonka started off on a new venture to make medicine to counter the results of Wonka- Vite. He looked out for the old living things in the world. decided to invent a new thing to undo the harm. He had to make people old.

He wanted to know what the oldest living thing in the world was or what lived longer than anything else. His assistant Charlie named tree. But the question emerged which tree, it was certainly not the fir, oak or cedar.

He listed a number of old trees. Wheeler Peak is the oldest tree that encouraged him to collect special items from all over the world. So he jumped into the great glass elevator and collected pink of sap from Bristlecone Pine that grew in Nevada USA. Such trees were 4000 years old, Toenail clipping from a 168 year old Russian farmer, an egg laid by 200 year old tortoise, the whiskers of a 36 year old cat and so on.

The list of collected parts from various odd sources including old and ancient animals. Mr. Wonka tracked down very old animals and took a bit of something from each one of them. 

In the end he boiled and tasted the product in his inventing room. He produced one small cupful of black liquid. He poured four drops of oily black liquid, the young volunteer started showing the signs of aging again. His teeth fell down and his hair started dropping off and became an old fellow of seventy-five years of age. Thus, Vita – Wonk was invented by him.
