Summary of Dad and the Cat and the Tree class 7 poem is about a funny incident when a cat stuck in tree and narrator's dad trying to make it free.


The poet describes, one morning a cat got stuck in the tree. Narrator's dad decided to make it free. He says, he would be able to climb the tree easily. Narrator's wife warned him that he might fall. But ignoring her warnings he climbed the ladder, slipped and fell.


Having fallen once, he thought of trying again, another way. Yet again ignoring his wife warnings, he swung himself up on a branch. The branch broke and again he fell.

Despite of many unsuccessful attempt he is not giving up. He climbed climbed up the garden wall. Luckily this time he did not fall. However, the moment he sprang unto the tree the cat jumped to the ground, safe and sound. Poor father, on the other hand, got stuck in the tree. The cat gave a loud shriek and fell on the ground. It suffered no injury. It was smiling and safe. But poor old Dad got stuck up the tree in place of the cat.

डैड एंड द कैट एंड द ट्री क्लास 7 कविता का सारांश एक मजेदार घटना के बारे में है जब एक बिल्ली पेड़ में फंस गई और कथाकार के पिता इसे मुक्त करने की कोशिश कर रहे थे।


कवि वर्णन करता है, एक सुबह एक बिल्ली पेड़ में फंस गई।  कथावाचक के पिता ने इसे मुक्त करने का निर्णय लिया।  उनका कहना है कि वह आसानी से पेड़ पर चढ़ सकेंगे।  वर्णनकर्ता की पत्नी ने उसे चेतावनी दी कि वह गिर सकता है।  लेकिन उसकी चेतावनियों को नजरअंदाज करते हुए वह सीढ़ी पर चढ़ गया, फिसल गया और गिर गया।


एक बार गिरने के बाद, उसने फिर से कोशिश करने का सोचा, दूसरे तरीके से।  फिर भी अपनी पत्नी की चेतावनियों को नज़रअंदाज करते हुए, उसने खुद को एक शाखा पर चढ़ा लिया।  टहनी टूट गई और वह फिर गिर पड़ा।


लाख कोशिशों के बाद भी वह हार नहीं मान रहा है।  वह चढ़कर बगीचे की दीवार पर चढ़ गया।  गनीमत रही कि इस बार वह नहीं गिरा।  हालांकि, जैसे ही वह पेड़ पर चढ़ा बिल्ली जमीन पर कूद गई, सुरक्षित और स्वस्थ।  वहीं बेचारा पिता पेड़ में फंस गया।  बिल्ली ने जोर से चीख़ दी और जमीन पर गिर पड़ी।  इसे कोई चोट नहीं आई।  यह मुस्कुरा रहा था और सुरक्षित था।  लेकिन बेचारा बूढ़ा पापा बिल्ली की जगह पेड़ पर फँस गया।

Ans: Dad was sure that he wouldn't fall as he thought he was a good climber and climbing a tree was a child’s play.

Ans: The phrase in the poem expresses Dad’s self-confidence best is "Right just. Leave it to me.” “Easy as winking to a climber like me.”


3. Describe Plan A and its consequences.

Ans: According to Plan A, father would have reached the tree top with the help of the ladder. However, the ladder slipped and father fell on the ground.
