“Little by little,” an acorn said,

As it slowly sank in its mossy bed;

“I am improving every day,

Hidden deep in the earth away."

Little by little each day it grew,

Little by little it sipped the dew.


                                  Downward it sent out a thread-like root

                                  Up in the air sprang a tiny shoot;

                                  Day by day, and year by year,

                                  Little by little the leaves appear,

                                  And the slender branches spread far and wide

                                  Till the mighty oak is the forest’s pride.




Little by Little poem Translation in Hindi

"छोटे से थोड़ा," एक बलूत ने कहा,

 के रूप में यह धीरे-धीरे अपने मोसी बिस्तर में डूब गया;

 “मैं हर दिन सुधार कर रहा हूं,

 दूर पृथ्वी में छिपी हुई गहरी ”।

 हर दिन थोड़ा-थोड़ा करके यह बढ़ता गया,

 थोड़ा-थोड़ा करके इसने ओस को बहा दिया।


                                   नीचे यह एक धागे की तरह जड़ बाहर भेजा

                                   हवा में एक छोटी सी गोली मार दी;

                                   दिन-ब-दिन, और साल-दर-साल,

                                   पत्तियों के छोटे-छोटे भाग दिखाई देते हैं,

                                   और पतला शाखाएं दूर-दूर तक फैली हुई हैं

                                   जब तक शक्तिशाली ओक जंगल का गौरव है।




Little by Little poem Summary in English

Summary of the Little by Little is, the poem describes how an acorn improves and enhances itself over the years as it lies buried deep underneath the earth. A root of the plant grows downwards. A tiny shoot of the plant appears above the ground and thereafter the leaves appear on it. 


In the second paragraph, the slender branches of the tree spread across everywhere. In due course of time, the acorn grows into a mighty oak tree. Similarly, just as an acorn symbolizes strength and potential, every child wants to grow up one fine day as a wise and intelligent individual just like the mighty oak tree.

Little by Little कविता का सारांश, कविता का वर्णन है कि एक बलूत कैसे सुधरता है और वर्षों में खुद को बढ़ाता है क्योंकि यह पृथ्वी के नीचे गहरे दफन है।  पौधे की एक जड़ नीचे की ओर बढ़ती है।  पौधे की एक छोटी सी गोली जमीन के ऊपर दिखाई देती है और उसके बाद उस पर पत्तियां दिखाई देती हैं।


दूसरे पैराग्राफ में, पेड़ की पतली शाखाएं हर जगह फैली हुई हैं।  समय के कारण, बलूत एक विशाल ओक के पेड़ में बढ़ता है।  इसी तरह, जैसे एक बलूत शक्ति और क्षमता का प्रतीक है, वैसे ही हर बच्चा ताकतवर ओक के पेड़ की तरह एक अच्छा दिन बुद्धिमान और बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति के रूप में विकसित करना चाहता है।

shoot: It refers to new growth of a plant.
