In this poem, The Lake Isle of Innisfree, the  poet describe Innisfree as a place of full of natural beauty and peace. The poet want to leave this materialistic world and go to Innisfree. There he wants to make a small cabin with clay and wattles to stay there alone.  The poet wish to plants nine rows of beans and grow honeybees and live alone there.

The poet knows that peace will not come instantly. He finds peace in the veils of morning on the singing of crickets. There after he expresses his desire to enjoy the midnight glimmer. The poet wants to enjoy natural beauty and for that he waits for the sky full of flying Linnet birds.

These natural scenes will bring peace and harmony to the poet. The poet hear the water of the lake lapping with the shore. He wants to hear this sound continually even while he is away from Innisfree.
